The early stages of cervical cancer may be completely asymptomatic. Vaginal bleeding, contact bleeding or (rarely) a vaginal mass may indicate the presence of malignancy. Also, moderate pain during sexual intercourse and vaginal discharge are symptoms of cervical cancer. In advanced disease, metastases may be present in the abdomen, lungs or elsewhere.Symptoms of advanced cervical cancer may include: loss of appetite, weight loss, fatigue, pelvic pain, back pain, leg pain, single swollen leg, heavy bleeding from the vagina, leaking of urine or faeces from the vagina,and bone fractures.
Once cervical cells begin to change, it typically takes 10-15 years before invasive cervical cancer develops. As the cells change, they first become "pre-cancerous" – a condition also known as "dysplasia" or CIN – the abbreviation for cervical intraepithelial neoplasia.

Cervical cancer is a non-malignant irregularity of cells on the surface of the cervix. Normally, symptoms are seen only after the irregular cervical cells turn malignant and attack tissues in its close proximity. Some of the treatments for it are LEEP, Cryosurgery, Cryosurgery Hysterectomy etc. But one should always consult a doctor for it and if observes any symptoms of it.
